Playdead, the independent game studio based in Copenhagen, has send over a press release announcing that their award winning puzzle, action adventure, Limbo will be available worldwide on the App Store Wednesday, July 3rd, in your timezone, at $4.99.
For the iOS release Playdead stated that they have performed extensive optimizations to ensure an amazing touch-based experience across iPad 2 (and higher), iPad Mini, iPhone 4S (and higher) and the latest generation of iPod Touch.
To date Limbo has sold over 3 million copies across Playstation 3, Xbox 360, Steam, Mac App Store and Playstation Vita.
