Gun Monkeys, the procedurally-generated multiplayer monkey deathmatch shooter from BAFTA-winning Size Five Games is coming to Steam jam-packed with all sorts of Achievements, Leaderboards, Trading Cards and loads of stats and info about your own personal squad of monkeys, the developer has announced.
In Gun Monkeys,, players take charge of a modern-day power company. In the distant future, a catastrophic experiment into Perpetual Energy obliterates all human life, leaving the world choc-full of free-for-the-taking energy. Your job is to send a legion of pleasingly-expendable monkeys forwards in time to collect Power Cubes and return them to present-day.
There is no firm release date but as according to Size Five’s Chief Executive Dan Marshall as soon as they “successfully plug all Steam’s systems into theirs, and assuming nothing horrendously-unpleasant happens”, they’ll be launching the whole game shortly afterwards.
