Cadenza Interactive, the indie studio behind 2011’s Sol Survivor today announced the Steam release date of January 31st, 2013 for its sophomore title, Retrovirus, a six-axis” shooter, that has been in development for two and a half years.
Retrovirus is inspired by late 90’s classics, like the Quake and Unreal series, as well as Descent and Forsaken. In the game players take on the role of the anti-virus “Agent”, and are tasked with seeking out and destroying an invasive virus. The campaign is fully voiced, including acting from Zen Josey and IPL eSports broadcaster Kevin Knocke.
Retrovirus is expected to retail around 15,99€.
