Humans Must Answer

Humans Must Answer was created by Sumom Games which consists of Denis Matveenko και Eugeny Yatsuk, two members that had previously worked on S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2.

Humans Must Answer is a retro shmup in the most classic of manners and does come complete with some fantastic graphics and lots and lots of explosions. In the game, players will become the pilots of a scout ship called The Golden Eagle, which is apparently crewed by a number of highly intelligent and dangerous chickens which tries to make contact with the humans but the encounter soon turns to hostility.

The chickens must fight through fleets of human ships and their robot allies as they try to reach the Sun and chart the area. Humans Must Answer will see players explore areas, battle enemies, get hidden bonuses, fight bosses and experiment with a wide range of weapons and abilities in order to fight the combination that allows them to progress.

The team is also promising a complex story which is told via gameplay elements and a number of secret eggs that the chickens need to discover by exposing their ship to extra danger. Humans Must Answer will be released sometime during 2013 for Windows PCs and those of you that would like to see it appear on Steam should check its Greenlight page out.

Nihilumbra

Nihilumbrais one of the most beautiful games someone will find on the App Store right now. It’s a platform adventure with gorgeus graphics, excellent gameplay and a sense of discovery in every corner.

Nihilumbra is a 2-D puzzle platformer where It tells the story of a shadowy entity named Born. Constantly pursued by The Void, Born must make its way across various worlds to make its escape.

But these worlds are populated by menacing monsters. And to help Born get away from them, you must help him use the different colors at his disposal. Note that each level has a unique solution and you will have to find it by using previous and current stage clues. As Born grows, he discovers more about the world around him, and learns how the world has fallen into its current state.

Additions to the PC versions include improved atmospheric and weather effects, new HD textures, an improved and fully remastered soundtrack with a new song, and minigames. The developers also address going from touch to PC controls on their Greenlight post: “You will be able to paint using the mouse and move Born using the keyboard and we will add some shortcuts also. All tutorials and menus will be redesigned and adapted to PC version.”

Conclusion

Greenlight is here not only to reward developer who truly have something good to offer gamers but also to allow Steam members to feel like they actually have a say in what becomes available in the Steam store.

It’s hard to judge how important the new fee structure will be to Steam Greenlight’s eventual succes but our guess is that as time goes Valve, as with all Steam features, they will continually grow and modify Greenlight and more and more developers will be constantly submitting new games for the community’s approval, something that might result in games worthy of attention ending up getting lost in the crowd.

However even if this becomes the case Gameconnect to the rescue will be here to provide you every once in a while a round up of titles you should support with your vote.
