Re-Volt, the classic radio control car racing game released by Acclaim Entertainment in 1999 on the PlayStation, PC, Nintendo 64 and Dreamcast, is now available on the App Store, Brighton-based developer Big Bit has announced.
Re-Volt Classic brings the original kart racer back to life with retina visuals, control methods tailored for touch devices and all the great gameplay that made the title such a fan favorite when it was originally released. The game features 14 race trucks, including suburban streets, gardens and houses, rooftops under the stars, museums, cruise ships, and even a Wild West ghost town, 42 different racing cars, and 5 modes to play including Championship and Single Race modes, Arcade style Time Trials, a Practise mode and a Stunt Arena.
Re-Volt Classic costs $5.99 and works with the iPad and iPhone 3GS forward. You can purchase it from here.
