Closure, a puzzle-based platformer which focuses on the use of light and took the grand-prize at the DICE 2012 Indie Game Challenge is coming to Steam for PC and Mac on 7th September.
Developed by Tyler Glaiel and Jon Schubbe, with music by Chris Rhyne, Closure is an incredibly unique gaming experience that we definitely recommend. The game takes place in a monochrome world in where if you can’t see something, it doesn’t exist. That means you must find a light source in order to even have somewhere to walk.
According to Tyler Glaiel the Steam version of Closure can run in any resolution – whereas the PSN title was 720p, there will be an unlockable dev commentary mode, and there is basic mod support with internal development tools bundled with the game. He explained “these are not user-friendly, if people enjoy them enough we may patch new features related to this in the future.”
Closure is currently available on the US PSN for $14.99.
